After graduating from Cooper Union with a B.E. in chemical engineering in 2003, Brian finished a Master’s degree (also in chemical engineering from Cooper Union) in 2004. His thesis topic was scale-up operations involving ion-exchange resins. He worked for the New York City Dept. of Environmental Protection for four years, in the Bureau of Wastewater Treatment, working with wastewater treatment plants throughout the city; before moving to his current position, as Environmental Engineer for Con Edison at a steam generating facility.
