Bio: Luis Escobar-Ferrand, P.E., Ph.D., Pall Corporation, Port Washington, NY.
Presentation - Fabrication and Performance of Nano-Particle Surface-Modified, Thin Film Composite Membranes.
Dr. Luis Escobar-Ferrand has more than 15 years of solid engineering experience on project management and process engineering on drinking water, wastewater, industrial water and desalination & water reuse projects. His diverse background brings a unique blend of experience on leadership, planning, development, design, engineering, and execution of local and international projects.
For ten years, he has worked in Pall Corporation’s Water Processing group in the application of membrane technologies for diverse applications.
Dr. Escobar-Ferrand is a registered Professional Engineer in New York State and holds a Bachelor and Masters’ degree in Biochemical Engineering from the Universidad Catolica de Chile, Masters’ degree in Environmental Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology, and a Masters’ and Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University.
