We celebrate this annual event with the
American Chemical Society, New York Section and the New York Hall of Science (NYSci). Details.

This year's theme is “Marvelous Metals" as well as celebrating the International Year of the Periodic Table (of Chemical Elements) - IYPT2019.

Note: This event is intended for K-12 students: to explore the Wonderful World of Chemistry! (The event will showcase chemistry principles using demonstrations performed by local college students and volunteers from local industries and organizations for children of all ages.)

NYSCI Fees: General Admission - $16 Adults and $13 Children. This includes the core NYSCI experience, the National Chemistry Week event, but does NOT include access to feature exhibitions (such as Apollo11: First Steps Edition nor the Science Playground, for instance). Resources: From the ACS NCW webpage - Celebrating Chemistry is designed to engage and educate children (Grades 4-6) in the basic principles of chemistry, and are available in both English and Spanish. Most editions are aligned with either National Chemistry Week (NCW) or Chemists Celebrate Earth Day (CCED) and contain articles, experiments, and puzzles based on each year’s themes.
