Assistant Materials Scientist

Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline (Physics,Materials Science, or EE) and will have significant experience with thin-film nanofabrication (lithography, etching, thin-film growth) working withina cleanroom environment. They will also have expertise in self-assembling materials and an interest in applying them for high-resolution patterning. The candidates must show ability and interest in supporting future expansionsof the CFN’s state-of-the-art nanofabrication facilities. Synergy with existing CFN research efforts using block copolymer approaches for nanostructured solar materials is highly desirable. The successful candidate will provide a vision for building a research program well suited to both internal and external interactions in a center in which scientific collaboration is essential.
