What is Innovation?
Speaker: Valentin Tarasenko, Director, Process Engineering & Innovation Coach at Pfizer Inc.
Abstract: Our December speaker, Valentin Tarasenko, will offer a hands on approach to try to explain how innovation methods and tools can be applied by Chemical Engineers in a practical way.
He will share some of the innovation techniques used by his organization and show the innovation value by a few case studies.
At Pfizer Inc., his current role is a Director, providing process engineering support, and as an active innovation coach. In 2014, he was awarded “Innovation Coach of the Year” by his fellow coaches and manufacturing leadership Teams. He was part of the Team that received the ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering) facility of the year award 2016 for equipment innovation: PCMM (Portable, Continuous, Miniature, and Modular).
Valentin is married and has three daughters.

Program Details: The event begins at 5:30 pm with a Networking Event that includes a buffet supper (arriving at 6:00 pm) and with the presentation from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Attire: Professional casual attire is suggested. Please note the meeting room should be available about 5 pm - so early attendance is encouraged.
